Who Can Get Help?
You must be financially eligible.
When you call, we will ask you questions about your income and assets to see if you meet our financial eligibility guidelines.
Your legal problem must be of the type we handle.
When you call, we will also ask you to describe your problem to see if it is the type with which we can be of assistance. See the listing in programs. We do not handle criminal cases or traffic tickets.
Your civil legal problem must be one that we can do something about.
We can give you legal advice, provide brief service, or represent you. Our professional staff will determine whether they can accomplish something for you with advice or representation. Not all cases on the list are accepted, either due to limited resources or because there may be nothing a lawyer can realistically do to help.
How do I ask for help?
Call for an appointment.
See the list of locations and telephone numbers on offices. If you have an emergency, call and we will arrange to see you as soon as possible. Should you need special arrangements to use our services, please let us know.
