What We Offer...
Individual Case Service
The largest part of Legal Aid's work is providing legal services to individual low income people to solve individual problems such as public assistance denials, divorce and child support, evictions, foreclosures, domestic violence, and consumer fraud.
Volunteer Services
Legal Aid recruits and assists private attorneys and professional support staff to provide free legal services to eligible persons on the same basis as services are provided by our staff. This allows us to provide services by referral to a participating private attorney or legal clinic.
Community Legal Education
Our staff is available to speak to groups of low income persons about their legal rights, and to help inform low income people about legal matters in other ways. Please ask us about this service.
Group Representation
If your neighborhood or a community group has a legal problem affecting many low income people, we may be able to help.
