Although not always required, it is best to contact the Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas office prior to visiting. You may waste a trip by not calling for an appointment.

Please check our eligibility requirements to see if you might qualify for legal assistance.

Determine where your local Legal Aid office is located and when that office receives new applications.
Clinics
In addition to receiving applications in our offices, staff conduct outreach clinics in community centers and other facilities in neighborhoods and rural counties. These may be staffed by LANWT employees or volunteer attorneys. You can find the schedules posted under each office’s page in this website or check our Clinics page.
If an appointment is required for the outreach clinic, call the office as instructed on the office page. Do not simply show up because the number of persons seen depends on how many interviewers are scheduled. You may waste a trip by not calling for an appointment.

Gather up all relevant documents including any court documents, contracts, leases, bank statements and income verifying documents, Please bring that information with you to your appointment.
